Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Location
Open to candidates based in Uruguay (Remote possible)
Preference for candidates located in Montevideo, working hybrid (at least 1-2 days per week at the office)

Must-Have

• Experience in mobile test automation with Appium (Android & iOS) non-negotiable
• Ability to work effectively with JavaScript/TypeScript (not strictly exclusive, but must be capable of using JS/TS in daily work)
• Experience with API automation
• Solid understanding of automation principles, debugging, and building stable test suites
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Very good written and spoken English
• High level of proactivity and ownership the team is small, so this role requires independence and initiative

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO in TypeScript
• Experience with Windows desktop automation
• Experience with BrowserStack
• Ability to configure GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with modern QA toolchains and automation best practices
